To Teachers- Thanks for Changing Us!!!

627th BLOG POST -->>

             We saw a Full moon night yesterday. It was the occasion of Guru Purnima. Another festival in India that teaches us to pay respect to all the elders(generally) from whom we got to learn something. Any source of guidance becomes our teacher. And Guru Pournima is the day when we remember our teachers in life. They are of utter importance to us. If they would not have been true and honest, we would have been what Kasab and Veerappan are. But, just because of the magic that these teachers did with our soul, mind and heart, we turned out to be someone who tries to develop and excel. I get delighted even on a miniscule achievement of mine. And that is because of the power that these teachers have delivered in me. Even at the smallest achievement of mine, they made me a Star in class and made other pupils clap for me. That encouragement, motivation and courage I got from those activities that were a Fun then, makes me a creator, developer and hard worker now. I quest to display the persona that they expected from me when they made others clap for me. :-)

             I remember Dalaya mam- the first teacher of my life. She was so motivating that she made my parents buy costly story books even after knowing that my father earns something that can only keep us alive. :-) That encouraged and developed me infinitude. It helped me understand whatever teachers taught before than others. Because I started grasping the language quickly while others took time. That showed its result when I reached Standard 3. My History teacher- Mrs. Chandramouli made me read all the chapters in the class whenever she wanted someone from us to read. It developed me more. I started loving to lead. But still, I had lots of under-confidence. In Standard 4- the crush of every kid- Mrs. Rashmi made me the monitor of Computer Laboratory. That made me learn Computers more than what others did in class. That resulted in fast typing. And the best result of it is: I am a Graduate in Computers now. :-) She made me realize that I have a little crush on a subject like Computer which very few knew then(in 1998). Then in Standard 5, Mrs. Hirana saw me as her favorite student. And when a student became favorite of a teacher, you know how much chance he get what others don't. :-)

           I would like to thank Mrs. Sen who encouraged me in Standard 6. I don't remember any other teacher who gave any kind of quality teaching to me in 7th and 8th. But as soon as I landed in 9th, Mr. Fernandes just changed the whole outlook of my personality. The kind of person he is, he can motivate and teach anyone who don't even know what School and Teaching is. The Best teacher I remember of my School Days. Because of him, I learnt so much in English. I am still weak but that gave me confidence to create this Blog and come this ahead with it. Who knew at the age of 14 that I'll write 627 Blogs or something after turning 22? But I think Mr. Fernandes has this magic of seeing the best part of a child and enhance it. He did it with me. Salute!!!

              The one teacher in Graduation college whom I'll never forget till I breathe my last is Mrs. Nishat Haveri. She is magical. Even at the age of 22, when I can vote, marry, have kids etc, she taught me so much that I feel there is so much to learn even now. I remember many of her teachings and personal talks that she did in the last Semester. It still helps me to believe that I am a "No One" still and I have lot more to do. She gives personal attention to each and every kid. Magnificent!!! She is young herself and I have no doubt that she is going to be a Well-known Professor in future. Any institute will gain respect just because of her presence. She is Perfect.

               And the other two person who teaches me continuously in life are Robin Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan. Robin Sharma is the person who brought me back to a life that every one wants to live. His books made me recover from the useless depression I was in. He is the man who can do wonders with a sentence/tweet that he writes. Just imagine the amount of change he can bring in anyone from uncountable sentences that he has written in his 12 books till date. Amitabh Bachchan is someone who teaches us that everyone can learn everything. And there is no age when we should claim that we are done with learning. We should learn till our last breathe. And even work after the Retirement age. He taught me what Punctuality, Dedication and Honesty towards work should be. Another man who speaks nothing about himself, but is someone whom everyone wants to be. Even I!!!

             And it's compulsory to state parents in this post. They are the one who teaches us right from the first breathe we take after coming out of the dark womb we live in for 9 months. :-) Every parents does the best for his/her child, even mine did. And I speak about it in almost 10 Blog Posts every year. So I'll withdraw today. :-)

           Happy Guru Purnima to all the teachers and guides. Even when I can't meet these teachers, if they are reading this, I would love to get your blessings. I'm still 22 and I have a long life to live. Your blessings can change the unchanged behaviour(which needs to be changed) of mine.

  Thanks.

P.S.: I hope I get many good and excellent teachers in my next new college too. Post Graduation ahead. :-)
